The best answer I can find is from folks who have done a lot of research and say that the Zaner-Bloser style of letter formation is the fastest and most legible. Alpine District supports the Zaner-Bloser style. I have found that kids who learn to form their letters in this way, usually are able to write faster, with more ease and with greater legibility.
I have grouped the letters of our alphabet by where they start. Click on the button that includes the letter(s) your first grader needs to practice. The pages you will see have hollow letters that your child can fill in with a pen/pencil. The hollow letters have numbers and arrows to show the order and direction of movements to form the letters correctly.
