Illustration boxes
When your child has an idea to write about at school, you can print off one of these pages.
Your child should write his/her name on the page.
Your child then draws one illustration (in the page with the long box) or three illustrations (in the one with the three boxes).
Then label or write notes near the pictures to help your child remember the idea and also so that some of the key words are spelled correctly.
Your child will then bring this to school. I will staple it to a writing page. The story will be written at school.
